If you think the A4 is such a great car, then how on earth do you think that you can get away with saying that a more powerful, faster, and better handling car is junk? I don't think the A4 is pathetic, but if I use your standards of judging a car, then it has to be.


The US-spec Lotus Elise makes 190hp and only 138 torque. Is it rice because of that? The E60 M5 makes 507hp and only 383 torque, is it rice too? My personal RX-7 makes 430hp and only 340 torque. Let me guess, rice, right? But my Lightning makes just 380hp, and a monstrous 450 torque. So does that make my truck a better sports car than an Elise? Your logic is just backwards. That's it.

Cars are more than numbers on paper.

yea, no worries, i was a dick too, i just have a problem with that car and was getting pissed heearing about it, but sorry. silver, the elise has a tiny celica motor that only pushes the little thing cuz its so light, but yea, i kinda consider it rice because of that, but its still a nasty little car regardless. the celica does worse times than my suv's. if you have an rx-7 and know what they are about, than aren't you extremely dissappointed with the rx-8?

Acronyms are initials that are said as a word - NATO, SLORC, FUBAR, etc

Synonyms are two different words that have more or less the same meaning.

Quattro is neither. It is Italian for 4. Or I guess you could say that quattro is synonymous with 4.

The elise is a car that would clean the hell up on a track, because it was built to do it... that's not rice man. Lotus has always been cool like that... power to weight ratio is what determines speed in a straight line, so why does it being light (1975 lbs!) hinder it in any way? A lighter car would brake better, handle better, and accelerate just as well, even though it has a 'tiny toyota motor'.
Plus, it's just over 40 grand, and runs a sub 5 second run to 60. I would buy an elise in a heartbeat! Or that new... whats the new new lotus called? Exige? Something like that... effin hot whatever it is. An even MORE trackable coupe version of the elise roadster. Mmm!

and i know about the lotus' but it was a dissappointment to me when i found out it had a celica motor, i thought they would use something small, but i was thinking a euro motor with better numbers. the thing could have been out of this world fast for near the same price.

 

not knocking the elise at all, love the thing, just didn't like the motor if anyone was thinking i was trashing it at all, i know a whole new fight will start if i don't watch every little thing.
