Default 5 Day old B7 RS4 Center console Rattle

Hi All: I am from the Bay Area CA. This is my first post for my first Audi. I sold my E46 M3 for a Daytona Gray RS4. She ROCKS! Love the exhaust note.

She is 5 days young and I notice there are some center console rattles, seems to be under the cigarette lighter comparment. I've read of few of these in the forum and it looks like dealer should be able to take care of them.

By chance any one know what some of the causes are? If it is easy enough, I might try to tinker with it myself just to get to know her.

Sorry, I can't help you with your question but maybe you can help me with mine. Please review my most recent posting "Brake Calliper Badges"
Thanks PDX RS4

Default I have the same problem with the rattling..

I picked my RS4 yesterday (also previous E46 M3 owner) and the rattling is really bad! I'm pretty pissed--you can't tell me they didn't notice this when they did pdi'd the vehicle! Did you ever figure out what it was? I just hate removing dashes/consoles/etc because they never seem to fit back properly and always seem to rattle more.

Its probably rattling because of the PDI, its about the only chance us poor folk get to drive that beast.
Don't mess with the dash, the panels are un-godly expensive and if they find you have been tinkering with them they might just say you caused itand won't cover the repair. You paid $70k+ for the thing to work right and not rattle, let the tech mess with it. If you wanna tinker with something buy an older audi to play with.
