Alert! Audi Wanna Be Comming 2008!!!!
Please Be Advised!
We are approching an all time high of German car impersonators. Let me tell you of one.
I have to say this man, cause its bugging me like Crazy. So it all started like this:
Short-STORY:
in 2006 Cadillac released a updated model called CTS, they saw that the CTS was underpowered,
ugly, not luxury. It just was a waste of metal and rubber. So Cadillac as the cheap *** **** that they
are went into Germany and stole the idea from Audi - BMW - Mercedes on a Sport edition of the car.
Like BMW 330CI became BMW //M3 or the Mercedes C240 //AMG or the Audi A4 to Audi //S4. Now
like BMW, Mercedes, Audi they improve on everything, suspension, power, looks, everything! so now
Cadillac took that idea and the emblem itself!!! they now incorporated that in their car on top of that
it sits on a Opel frame. So they came out with a late 2006 Cadillac CTS V// Series. Can you belive that?
V??? very stupid and junky. Even more of a waste of metal. its so funny when i heard even more BAD
news. that the 2007 models are comming out with AWD. LOL, common laugh cause let me put it like this
2007 Cadillac CTS V// AWD or 2007 Audi //S4 Quattro
see they're kinda the same bull****. its so stupid cause on top of that when Germans even gave a crap about them they are now competeing against BMW , Audi, Mercedes.??? i was furious and still am.
I wrote to them in a email saying, hey ***koff cadillac cause you wont meet the European cars ever!
id take a Audi over any Cadillac. Even the older ones. i have a passion of hate for GM and Ford.
Whats wrong with the CTSV? A RWD CTSV beats a quattro S4 in a straight line and on the track and looks damn sexy doing it. I've driven both an07 V and an 07 S4 and mypic would be the Caddy. But we all know the RSis #1

I am not a fan of american cars either but the CTSV is a nice car. I am happy they are trying to compete! Remember cady like ten years ago? they had nothing and now they have the V and are racing it too? I like them alot. Still i will stick with german but you cant bust ***** when you havent driven it!

I don't care if they copied or not, the CTS-V hauls big *****.It's has stood up to some pretty heavycompetition, and not to mention, criticism. Yet another vehicle that I test drove at one point and considered. Just cannot bring myself to get an AWD as a daily driver for Pa. I really need to get me a beater.
I suppose I am just a true car fanatic. If it's fun/fast, lemme drive it!!

Can't really blame them for giving customers what they want. There's a lot of loyal GM buyers that would give their left nut to have a car such as an M or an RS oran S, but simply will not do it out of some sort of blind, twisted loyalty.
from what i understand (being an old school cadillac fan) is that the cts-v was made because the american companies such as gm and ford had no answer for the german luxury-sports cars such as the audi s4, amg benz, or the m3 series bmw and that cadillac wanted to target a young crown with the cts in steady of the older retired age people, the reason that this change was made by cadillac was because lets face it us younger peopleare more likey tobuy more cars then someone that is 65+ this was a change by cadillac to save the company, most retirment aged people will get 1 cadillac and drive it till they no longer can because of this cadillac would not sell near as many cars as audi bmw or benz since the german companies apealed to the young and older crowds. Cadillac headed in a different direction to catch the eye of younger people that want what germany had to offer. i don't hate cadillac because of this you have to go where the money is if you want to survive in the world. I rember reading about the cts-v years before it came out in road and track and it stated why cadillac was releasling the cts and the xlr and as a side note the xlr was a speicail edition car in like 2000ish which had some funny name i don't rember and the cts was a speicail edition car in the late 90's i wish i rembered there names but both where some off the wall names.
you have to be a little out of touch if you dont see why ANY car company would want to make a car to compete with ANY other car company......its what they are in the businbess of doing, selling more cars than the competition.... which leads them to make similar cars that they feel will outsell their counterparts.
There will always be that aspect in ANY market that involves more than one comapany that sell a similar product, duh!
Bitching about Cadillac making the CTS-V would be like bitching about a movie studio ALSO making an action movie, or crest also offering baking soda toothpaste, goodyear also offering a snow tire....get my drift yet?
BTW the CTS-V is a very fast and capable 3500lbs 400HP car with a MUCH bettter reliabilty record than Audis...so you make of that whatever you want.
I just happen to like the way Audis drive, look and feel better than a CAddy, but i take NOTHING away from the CTS V my friend, just different strokes for different folks.

If Cadillac wanted to copy Audi, they'd have mounted the engine so far ahead of the front wheels it'd double as a hood ornament. Out of all of the General's children, Cadillac is in imho the only one who's on the right path. Bravo to them.
Like it or not, I think the CTS-V is a badass machine.
