Going out to lunch today, I was behind a platinum-colored RS6, that was pretty new looking, not to mention sharp looking. I looked on the Audi website but didn't see any mention of an RS6... do these things really exist? What years were they made?

I wonder how much it cost...

Ahh... I just found this: https://www.audiforums.com/models/rs6/
Guess they came out with one for the 2006 model year. Interesting that it isn't on the Audi website.

No.. I dont believe they came out with an 06'.. 2003 is the year they made those available in the US.

rs6 was just the 2003 model year

RS6 was a 2003 model. Audi are doing a new RS6, probably with a 5.2 V10, hopefully bi-turbo. This is only on paper that i have read this but i think that it has been confirmed from Audi.

The RS6 does sound beautiful though!

They havent made one for the 2006 model year yet, although they have done an S6, the RS6 will follow in hot pursuit in quarter 1 or 2 next year with any luck. Come on Audi

US won't see another RS6 till late 2008. Lets just hope they bring over the avant with a manual.

Yes they are nice cars... But why is the Avant such a big hit? i still havnt figured that one out yet.
