Newbie seeks color advice for RS6
Hello,
I am considering getting a used 2004 RS6 and am having a tough time choosing colors. The choice is between an Avus Silver/Blue and a Mugello Blue/Blue. The silver one has 32kkm and the blue has 36kkm, prices similar. What would you choose given that in my country we have very bright sunlight most of the year.
Also on the topic of colors, whats the difference between the "mugello" and "ming" blues of the Audi lineup? Can anyone tell?
I have a 1991 Bentley Turbo RL, but after road testing the RS6, I can't wait to dump the Bentley for the Audi, even though the wife won't be too happy losing the 'Empress Dowager'.

Thanks to all who answer and cheers to all who honor me by reading my post.

in the US, i think the only year for the rs6 sedan was 2003, but that doesn't really matter.
i don't know what the mugello blue looks like, but i like the ming blue. it's almost black looking.
your pic might work if you spell out "image".

Hi there,
You definately wont have any regretsbuying an RS6, they are an awesome Car, its always a difficult decision choosing the right Colour though. I had an RS6 Avant in Avus Silver, which, in my opinion is the best colour by far, as it does'nt show any scratches, stone chips or dirt, & looks fantastic when its clean, it would alsobe easy to sell, as most people likeSilver. I've seen all the other Colours, I would probably say that the'Mugello Blue' is the worst Colour of them all, I looked at one when it was only about 3months old, & it looked more like 3years old, as itshows up scratches, smear marks & looks really dark & dull, 'Black' & 'Daytona Grey'dont look much better either, 'Red' looks alright, you just have to keep it clean all the time to look good, like I said, 'Avus Silver' is the best, followed by 'Sprint Blue', which looks awesome, as itsvery bright, they do seem to be quitehard to findthough.
