Default RS2 tuning

Hey!
I'm new here so I didn't know where to put the thread. Anyways, here goes:

I have a -95 Audi RS2. It is tuned up to 360hp and is going great. I want more out of it though. Any advice on what I can do? I would like to tune it up to about 500hp.

Thanks in advance,
Vibban

P.S.
I don't want to hand it in to someone that doesthe work formewho chargesa fortune for it.

You can't "tune" it up to 500hp. The highest you could get it up to with just tuning would probably be 380hp if you're lucky. If you really want 500hp you'll want to look for a bigger turbo, manifolds, exhaust, intake, fuel systems etc. You'll get the biggest gain from the bigger turbo but you will also need to build other things the handle the additional power from the turbo, the tranny probably being weakest.

Didn't know what exactly the word "tune" meant. Ye ofcourse I need new parts and stuff. Do you have any advice on where I can buy those things? And how I can remap the car so it's customized for my new gear?

Thanks in advance,
Vibban

If you do major work like a turbo upgrade you will need a custom ECU tune which most Audi specialist shops can do for you.

i don't think many people here can help you that much with rs2 tuning, since well... members here are predominantly from the US, and well, we never got the rs2

i would check out www.audizine.com to see if they have any members that could help, but if that doesn't work, people here, definitely could: http://www.audi-sport.net/vb/forumdisplay.php?f=53

Just get a bigger KKK audi turbo. With the bigger turbo you need the tune the ECU to tell it what to do with the extra boost and when to add the extra fuel etc. Mechanically you dont really need to remap your car if you're not changing part types or sizes since its mechanical. With the better parts it just makes the car more efficient when running and in the end results in performance gain. For instance if you add an intake, exhaust manifold, and full exhaust (cat back and downpipes), you basically make it easier for the engine to move the air and to breath easier so less power is lost, resulting in a significant gain. On my 454 Suburban I added a breathing kit which included intake, exhaust manif., and cat back and I got an additional 72hp and 80ft/lbs of torqueat the wheels, not bad for $1800.
