RS4 Unique Smell
Every RS4 I test drove, as well as the one I just bought sight unseen, but promised to be a non-smoker car, smells like french vanilla (pipe tobacco?) inside and in the trunk. Is this a unique attribute of Audi RS4 interior components, "Certified Audi Interior Cleaner", or did I just get lied to again?

No unique odor is noticeable in ours. It's probably an air freshener - look around to see if you can find an air freshener card hidden simewhere near a vent. I was very glad to find out with the car we just bought, that it didn't smell of anything at all.
To eliminate the odor, buy a couple boxes of arm and hammer baking soda for refrigerator odors and put them in your car, maybe under the seats and see if that helps. If it doesnt, I'd wipe down all amooth surfaces with an appropriate cleaner, then shampoo the carpets or get them dry cleaned, then put the baking soda in the car. It may take 6 boxes or so due to cabin size but just might work.
Good luck!

Needs Detailing
I'm too ashamed. The car came shipped thorugh a snow storm in Wyoming and has never recovered since. It is in dire need of detailing, but the weather's been horrible. I'll post some after I get a chance to "bring it up to my standards."

smell
It actually smell different, and is due to the leather in the seats,
the perforated leather they use in these seats is treated differently than the rest of audis, is different supplier also.
the headliners are different as well, Heck you can tell even the engine compartment smell different than the rest of audis
