Hey guys just wanted to tell a quick story:

Last night i was in LI at my weekly Subaru Meet (im in the longislandsubaruclub) and saw a guy pull up in a black Audi RS4 and i absolutely loved it! Didnt get a chance to speak to the guy at all as i didnt want feel like a fanboy but i must say that is a really nice car! The wheels, the paint, its stance, seats, interior, exterior.. EVERYTHING! The exhaust note when he pulled off was like music to my ears! What i also love is that you dont see many on the road.. M3s around here in NYC are a dime a dozen and i like to drive cars with great performance and some exclusivity. So today i hopped online and went to the AudiUSA site to get the exact details, performance and pricing and AGAIN i was impressed! 0-60 in 4.8 Tons of Bells and Whistles AWD and the like... Price tag is 71K which is just way outta my league right now but in the future ill get to that status!.. I think im going to goto a dealer to sit in one and take a look anyways.

I currently drive a Stage 1 (Reflashed ECU) 2006 Subaru WRX STi which is just as fast an RS4 but definately doesnt have the styling and comfort that i love. Dont get me wrong i love my STi and its a AWESOME deal for 34K but it just cant compete with the RS4 at all! Like i said maybe one day.....

Can't wait to see my first 07 RS4 on the road....soI can kick his A$$!!!! lol - just kidding (though I probably could...)...I too am in love with the car....for much the same reason I fell in love with the originalB5 S4/RS4 (4 door - cargo hauler that can haul a$$!)....still I do prefer the Avant (shame not available here - the new one looks awesome!). The new RS4 is a great car from all I can tell - Audi did it right (with the trick high reving V8 and the RWD bias while mainting AWD capability and such) ...though the R8 or what have you will hopefully be lighter and even more nimble. In my Stage 3 S4 B5 Avant I pretty regularly eat STis for lunch (though love them as well) and recently dusted a brand new (and modded) Boxster S model - both in sweeping curves and straight acceleration into & beyond triple digits and 1/2...so I imagine I could take most drivers in the new RS4 in most situations....still its one hell of a car - and if I could afford one I'd love to have one!
