Hello all. I was a lurker on the various Audi forums as a previous RS4 owner. Approximately a year ago I sold the RS4 and purchased a M3. Having spent time on the bimmerpost forum, I couldn't help but feel like a former fat kid, as my new friends made fun of Audi's. My inner fat kid was like, "hey, I used to be one of those"! There literally wasn't a day when I didn't regret selling the RS4. I'd take that car over a M3 any day. Yesterday I finally broke free of the e92 M3 and purchased a RS5. I tried to be like them, but I just could never understand what their fanatical perceptions of the M3 were over. I liked it, spent a a small fortune on modding it, but in the end, it just wasn't a car I really enjoyed driving. It was fast, loud and had cool wheels. Ultimately, I never felt quite confident with the RWD. In the right hands, I know the M3 is a beast...but those hands aren't mine. So I'm super stoked to be back in the Quattro family and look forward to what others have done/are doing to their RS5.

Toddcc1, I hope you have tons of fun with your new RS-5. I am thinking about buying an
RS-5 to replace my S-5 but am curious if you have any problems with driveway or speed bumps due to the car's ride height. I'd also like to hear about your true gas mileage.
Have fun out there.

No problems with the RS5. I previously had an S5 and now a 2014 RS5. The ride height is not much different, a little lower but using care (slow) over bumps I have never scraped. I am getting indicated about 20 mpg with normal driving in the Auto setting. If you use the launch mode and make redline runs it will drop to 10 or 11 mpg. By the way in my past I had a E46 M3, light weight and fun but cheap feeling and nothing sounds like the RS5. I also spend a lot of time at the dealership getting electrics fixed on BMW's. You can't beat the Quattro.
