i was wondering if anyone knows the stock boost setting? and what is a safe amount you can turn it up on a stock setup?

 

Im not positive..but i believe its 8 psi

 

I could be wrong but i believe it peaks and then tapers... but i wouldnt know the numbers.

should spike to about 10, and taper at around 8 or so if im not mistaken

 

GIAC spikes that up to topping out at either 18 or 10, and tapering off to 16, or 18 if it spikes to 20

 

Hey guys,i just installed my boost gauge and right now it stays at like 20 below the zero.What should it be reading?do i have a boost leak?When im speeding up it spikes to 5, but thats it.help please...

 

Audifast - it sounds as if you are in what is called "Limp Mode" which is due to your ECU detecting some significant problem - boost leak or something else related to your engine/turbo performance. You need to get it thoroughly checked out and dealt with. Its telling you that if you were running with boost you would be damaging something....

 

how much are we talking...and what do i go to a tech and say..im in limp mode?
