COULD ANYONE TELL ME THAT OWNS A 2001 B5 S4 THAT IS CHIPPED?? CAN YOU PLEASE LET ME KNOW HOW MANY POUNDS OF BOOST WERE GAINED FROM YOUR CHIP?? AND JUST LET ME KNOW WHAT YOUR GAUGE READS FOR POUNDS... IM JUST CURIOS TO SEE WHAT IM LOOKING AT AFTER I CHIP MY CAR MAYBE IT WILL INFLUENCE ME TO DO IT FASTER..THANKS FOR YOUR RESPONSES...

What chip do you have? Most are a little over 1bar, & tapper to under 1bar.

i am not chipped yet and im currently running 15-16 max lb of boost i was just curios as to what a chipped s4 would be??? whats the difference in boost when you are chipped versus not being chipped?

giac = 1.2 bar? or 1 bar?... eh either way I a spike at 16-17 and hold a steady 15 psi.

Chipping your car is like night and day. It is imperative that you do it.

i think giac does 1.2 bar... i could be wrong, either way man +60 HP, +110 ft/lbs... aint too shabby for just a chip

 

i just talked to someone at a shop and he told me that the giac, apr, dahlback all those chips are crap for this car??? i notice everyone i see on these forums has like an apr or giac or something though????????? this guy told me that he will tune and dyno my car for $800 and he will guarantee me another 70+ hp 133 ft/lbs.. he told me that the other chips as apr,giac all those are generic maps and are not tuned to my car ..this one he will tune to my car on the dyno and is not a generic computer made map...seems to me that thats the way to go what do you guys think????

also keep in mind (i dont know if youve done it yet, since it doesnt appear in your sig), but youre also going to have to replace both dvs on the car when it either gets tuned by this guy, or if you get a chip

 

I have a Giac X chip in my 01 s4 i have reading of 17-18 psi holding 15psi.

i am not chipped yet and im currently running 15-16 max lb of boost
