I have been to the dragstrip 3 times in the past 2 months and still cannot figure out why my ET's are so low. When i check S4biturbo.com timeslips it seems like everyone and there mom is in the 13's.

my elevation is 4500 feet and it was about 55 degrees out. i have searched and searched and from that searching i have replaced my DV's, TBB, Spark plugs, Oil, Air filter to K&N and cleaned my MAF. Also i'm spiking 17-18 and holding 15 then tapering to 12 at redline. Shift points were 1st 6700-6800, 2nd 6600ish and never even took it out of 3rd.

I have a GIAC X chip 91 oct and a Neuspeed exaust for performance parts. Am i really that horrible of a driver, is it the altitude, or do you think that something is wrong with my car any help is greatly appreciated.

Well your 60' isn't that great and you're in some serious elevation. If you cut that 60' down to a 1.7 you could potentially see a high 13. Your trap is slow, but I am going to go ahead and blame that on the **** water and altitude.

I was able to knock off a 13.4 @ 104 with GIAC X and a catback in 80 degree heat and fairly humid. But that was at Englishtown.

 

yeah.. i saw on that web page a complete stocker beat that pretty handily .. gotta be some driver stuff going on with that.. ive been a couple time to the strip and its been closed everytime.. im still waiting to see how bad i shift..lol..hopefully ill know next friday..;-)

 

Well thanks i guess i just need to work on my launch i'm still getting used to awd. what do you guys think the car should be capable of at 4500 feet?
