Default 1/4 tested my car today

Now i know this is pretty ghetto but i have a very long straight away behind my house. Its a perfect stretch for getting your car up to speed and probably goes on for 1 mile straight.

I decided to stop with my brother in the car and test out the new R1's i just bought. i set the trip to zero. marked the spot, drove the road until .2 miles, marked the road again.
I figured i would come back with a string measured out to the remaining 264' but figured i would give it a run anyway.

So, 264' short of the 1/4 mile, my brother and i let it rip without bothering to time.
I reached 100mph just before .2 miles. I cant figure how thats possible!
All i have is K03's, R1 dv's, darinintake, Giac (running 93)
I dont even have my exhaust installed yet.
Figured my speedometer was off so i checked it alongside my brothers 04 s4....same.
I could be wrong here but isnt that a little faster than expected? considering the limited mods i have right now.
I have had snotty cars/trucks in the past (300ztt, Typhoon, porsche 951) Different cars sure, (i know theres a big difference here and alot of variables) I just wasnt expecting that. It really doesnt feel as fast as my typhoon but definately in range.
I guess i wouldnt question it as much if i had ran the full 1/4 and i touched 100mph.
I've never taken one of these to the track....what do you guys think?

thats cool, what exhaust set-up did you go with and how much did it cost? i found a 5 month used borla cat back for 500 dollars on craigslist in my area, i was planning on a borla anyway and later doing the piggie dp's myself. just curious on your system since i still want to keep my options open

I installed the xs power complete exhaust. DP's, cats, catback. $450 after shipping!
I know there are alot of people that frown on this exhaust but i cant complain. Yes the install requires a little more work (small fittment issues), some guys are turned off by the welds, they're really not that bad and i weld alot...maybe i got a good one?
I did it in 4 hours laying on a garage floor.
Now the result:
Im 30, so there was a time when a loud exhaust excited me......today? Im a little bothered by the extra rumble. Dont get me wrong, it sounds great and i have been in plenty s4's with your $1000+ exhausts. The difference? not much and depends on what your into.
The car spools faster, sounds meaner, and the tips are nice to look at. I just have a little post buyers regret. I rather enjoyed the quiter exhaust. I'll either get used to it or leave the DP's in and reinstall the stock catback.

I know i ran a car at 101 mph at 13.7.. soo if you were right around 100 i think you should be running about a 13.9 because turbod cars run at higher speed but not as fast e.t. if im not mistaken

13.9? if you ran 13.7 at 101 mph im definately faster than 13.7 considering i reached 100+ with 264 feet left before the quarter.
