The 2000 model year S4 often times gets a balky shifter after 100,000 miles or so. Where shifting from first to second is difficult and feels sticky. Does the 2001 suffer from this same dilemma? Is there some way to prevent this or is there a solid replacement that will stop this from happening in the next 100,000 miles?
