100 octane

Default 100 octane

so i found some 100 octane around town, who thinks its a good idea to throw some in the S and rip it? any potential side effects?

it wont do it any harm im sure in fact it would be like giving blood to a dying man, go for it ( the better the octain/RON the more power ) at a cost

of course 98 RON is the best you will get in the UK then its off road stuff for the track

Shouldn't hurt anything. I run 104 in my S4 when I get the chance. The only side effect I've found is that it makes the car feel slow when you go back to 93

yep that's what I mean, just don't get used to it because you wont find it in ant service station

haha..you run 104.. wow thats alot.. Do you ever get any knocking..there is a celing on it where it wont run properly.... But at 100 oct youd be fine.. i hear its a blast and have to try it sometime...

I never had a problem on the 104. There's actually a single station about 15mins from where I live that sells it. But I do have the GIAC X chip which is setup for 100 from what I'm told. Dosen't ping on 93 either just feels much faster on 104

OK not true the more octane the more power no thats not true it will make more power but if your car is not built for it then you have a good chance of blowing your motor

especially if its leaded and you go back and forth to both cause that kills your pumps...

i use 118OCT in my supra gives me about 200hp compared to 93oct

but thats in a supra

I don't believe that it's leaded. I honestly don't remember the brand, I've never had any problems with it.
