Default 18" winter wheels?

Allright well its almost that time of year again, after 5 months my summer tires (Falken Azenis RT-615's) are starting to feel a little slippery. Wont be long and ill be sliding off the road (again).

So iv got a set of 16" millie miglia spyder plus wheels that iv used for one season, worked good, no complaints but im ready for a change.

Toyed with the idea of geting some Stock 17" B5 S4 wheels to rock for the winter, but IMO it works on every color except black. Same with the b6 avus wheels.

What do you think about 18" wheels in the winter? Chances are im going to trash them on NH and Montana roads right?

Anyone selling some wheels, or who wants to buy my miglias feel free to post....

So sick of having a black car....Nogaro, Laser, Imola, silver, santorian, casablanca, and pearl are all better imo lol

i looked into this too...18s for winter are not the best idea if you aren't limited by a BBK. They will for sure bend, especially if you roads are like here in MI. Better off with a 17" wheel, cheaper and more sidewall on tire to eat up pot holes.

good luck, i got me some stockers with dunlop M3s on it. dont worry about looks, especially in winter...its all about functionality then!

Yeah I agree with both. 17 is the perfect size for winter. Also I just got h&r coilovers on and I don't feel like raising them up right away. But you 16's look real nice. And Hp I know black is a pain, but please suffer with me. haha. Are you selling the miglas with the tyres?

One tire is junk but the other 3 are good, i used them for like one full season, then had them on while my car was in storage.

At this point i want K04s more than spiffy winter wheels so ill probably just get new rubber all around on the Millie Miglias and call it a day.

Save the wheel money for some CCW classics.

17in stockers, IMO, are great wheels. I like the look of them. You check craigslist for some? You can usually find them on there for way cheap.

if I could find some 16" anything or 17" stockers, I'd be all about that. I'm still debating if I want my 18's at ALL. I'm half tempted to just get some 17" steelies and rockin that for the winter time.

I wont care at ALL what happens to them. :P I just dont want to break the bank, especially for something so stupid as ... Winter.

Still I cant seem to find wheels that I would want instead of my BBS's. If I could get some 18" Avus or Celebrations, as an 'everyday' rim, I'd be all over that...
