Okay I'm going to get some new wheels im thinking 19's but im going to keep the overall Diameter the same or within the reccomended3 percent of the original, with some low profiles,also to deal with theextra width of the wheel im going to get some spacers to keep the inner edge of the wheel as far away from the struts as it would be stock. The diameter will benearly same as stock and the width will be going up only 10mm, but I will have wheel spacers so I shouldnt have any issues right?

To keep the diameter close use 235/35/19 tires. Cant promise it will fit, that should be the same diameter and width as what im running (235/40/18). I dont have spacers, my car is lowered and im about as close as i want to be on both sides.

 

Should I just stick with 18s instead?

 

Theres plenty of people who have 19" wheels and love them, but personally i would buy 18's just because they are lighter, cheaper tires (and more options), and iv heard that the ride quality isnt quite as good on 19" wheels.

I think you can get away with 19s on a avant looks wise but on a normal car ther are to big
IMO I have 18s off a b6 on my avant and i love the look

trust me, go with 18's. I had 19 inch rs4's-the ride was terrible and i had to replace the tie riod ends and control arms soon after because of the constant pounding. They were the biggest waste of money I have ever spent on my car.
