I replaced my TBB last night only to discover a hole in the corner of my sensor. What does that sensor on top the the tbb do? It looks like the hole did not get all the way threw but i have no idea how it got there. Is it supposed to be there? There is discoloration around the hole like acid melt. Any advice would be awesome, thanks!

nvm, went to a audi repair place they told me the hole was normal... thanks for all the help.

 

rjstone - next time include a picture of what your talking about...I have seen plenty, but what you were talking about, it was hard to visualize, and judging from the lack of assistance from a generally very helpful group, it appears I wasn't the only one.

 

The "hole" is for the MAP sensor, very important!
