Default 2001 audi b5 s4

hey i got a question for you s4 people out there??? do you think that going from stock s4 and then just doing a catback with no chip would make it slower then stock?? thats what i hear i hear it will be slower if i do the catback without the chip then it would be stock....is this true... i would figure it would be faster due to more airflow...i dont know tell me what you guys think cause im gonna do it like couple days away...then ill head for the chip.....thanks for your help..

and not to be an *** but it's B5 s4 not s5 s4.... just thought i'd let you know. and i agree with sooks, i don't see how it would be slower. you might not see a huge power gain, but it wouldn't decrese the performance.... at least in my opinion

my buddy put a cat back on his without a chip, i actually noticed quite a difference...he was getting quite a bit more boost creep like an extra 2psi on his boost gauge

You will NOT loose any power with a cat back.

On just any forced induction car, you GAIN HP when you lower back pressure.

When I Dynoed my car with a turbo back, and a messed up GIAC flash (stock boost levels)
it did about 20whp more then a stock S4.

When I had the chip problem fixed it did 65whp more.

I don't see the harm in correcting his spelling error as much as the judgement on his question... c'mon... lose power from a catback? I thought this was a joke... and yeah, I probably do sound like an ***.
