You said his engine sounded like it was running rough, hopefully your friend just doesn't know what he's doing. I'd say you should start moddin.
Exactly, he dont now ****. He had the turbo upgrade with the stock motor & f*** it up. Then he took it to some gas station & had em put in the JDM motor. Atleast they told him its JDM with 50K miles on it, but never got it running right. Now the station change owner & he knew they were selling the station at the time & still got it done over there. I dont even think his car push 300hp right now.

On a side note, what's up with all the FDs? They look great guys. I'm about to sell my VR-4 for a R1.
We got tired of being called "elitists" on our board, so we're gonna jump over here and Bogart the place.

We just know the best in class when we see it. FDs are the cream of the Japanese sports car market, and S4s mop up the mid-size sport sedan class. I also have an '02 Lightning (best truck evAr!!1!), and a '66 Mustang (probably the most iconic car in history). We like the finer things in life.

Sorry to hijack, whoop the poor little Z32!

99a4audi, if you ever need help with 3000's or Stealths. Finding one to buy or just info, let me know. I know a fair amount about them.

SilverSeven, you guy's were being called elitists on RX7club? Musta missed it. As far as Jap sports cars, don't forget the NSX. Sure it's more money then it's worth. But it's very well balanced.

04BLKS4, that does sound fishy. If he's not running even 300hp you should murder him. Do they even make superchargers for the 4.2? I've been trying to find one for awhile. Be nice if there was a Procharger soon. If so that should but the Z miles behind you. At least do a little basic stuff. Not even to beat anyone, but what fun is a stock car?.. Unless it's a Ferrari.[8D]

hmm a 300zxtt is not something to sleep on, they run high 13's and i believe so does the b6 s4. the 300zx weighs abotu 3700+, and is rwd. the 300zx feels real good at top end, so from a dead dig it would still be a good race. but u said his motor sounds like crap. does it sound like crap at idle? or when he's on it. if it sounds like crap at idle than hes prob got some cams in there, the 300zxtt is freindly to mods, exuast and intake can get that thing even faster. there real strong motors. too bad u cant go single. booo. but anways it will kill u on a roll, but dead dig should be good for both. but once u reach over 60 that thing will pull and start passin u. ahh the era of jap supercars r over.

Try 3300lbs.[8D]

I mean, if both cars were brand new, and stock, the S4 would take it off the line. The Z from a roll. In this case the Z's modded, and the S4's stock.

Then again the Z's at least 10 years old. It won't be as powerful as when it was brand new. Besides, even if a car theoretically has even 3000hp and weights 2000lbs. If the engines in bad shape it could loose to a Geo. So you say his engines jacked and he can't drive? You got him.

Most JDM engines ride rough especially when they are brought over. How long has he had the engine? We did a lot of swaps in our shop back in the day, we were even able to get M3 engines directly from Europe for about a grand. If it is a new engine, then it was probably submereged or got "seasoned" once that clears up it'll run smoother than ever.

Like everyone said. Roll you lose, stop start you win.

However if he can't drive for a damn, you should be okay.

If it is the garrett stage 2 then that can boost to a max of 600 at the crank. But if you know he hasn't changed his internals then your safe to think he isn't pushing more than 400 hp

the 300zx tt does not weight 3300lbs thats false info, i researched them back when i really wanted to get one, they are heavy, there touring cars. they have HICAS system, which is an all steering system, rear wheels move up to a inch according to speed and way u turn. its ttv6 is not ligt either and don't forget its t-top. either way even stock it will give it a good run off the line. it will be close, they run 13's, high, but its rap spd is higher than a b6 s4. it will pull and than pass
