I have been shopping for an '06/'07 S4 Avant. I have it narrowed down to a few cars that interest me.

If there are any owners on here, could you relate your experience with the car and it's reliability, problem areas, etc.

Hi there,
I just got a 06 S4 avant with 75k on it.
when i got it i had to do the following:
- new control arms and bushings - these cars are heavy and go through suspension stuff
- new battery - It had the og version and it was time
- new coil packs - dealer took care of this for free
- valve/head gaskets - these are pretty common..look for them and make the seller take care of the repair
- some other stuff that i cant remember but overall their great cars...good luck
