Looks alot like all the spy photos and artist renditions, which is a good thing.

I'm glad to hear of the easily tuneable FI-V6 rather than another "you got whatcha got", NA V8.

5.1 0-60? ... not to shabby either!

Can anyone say smaller pulley? :-D

yeah i still though agree with the v6 supercharger, much more reliable than the 2.7t. I mean i love my car but if they made the k03's more reliable then that would probably be better too. Also gotta love the gas mileage for all that power :P

They used the supercharged V6 because its FAR LESS tunable than the twin turbo, and they dont have to do warenteed turbo replacements. i am curious to see what an exhaust, pully kit, intake, and remap do though.

The v8 isnt "ya get what ya get" either, development takes time. by next summer youll be able to buy a GOOD supercharger kit for it and burn any k04 car you choose. After all the b5 came out in 1997 in europe, and Just now were getting good GT kits and tial kits over 10 years later.

I do wonder how much that "good supercharger kit" will run me. I do find $20K rather pricey. Anything in the $5K range might be doable.

From what I've read a shorter pulley for the S/C can net up to 80HP (on the old Grand Prix GTP). This combined with other mods and you'll be pulling in the mid 400's with the new S4. That's not bad, and it will be a lot cheaper to do than the current V8.

yeah honestly the only way to actually own a b6/b7 (v8 engine) s4 is to have lots of money because if you really want to tune that bad boy you need lots of money for a supercharger...

AWE and a second company, forget the name right now, are both in the final development process for a SC for the B6/7 that is suppose to be under the $10k mark... getting a little more reasonable IMO

QFT bro. The kits wont be $20,000 like MTM. I think AWE's is chain driven and sits right on top of the motor, and gives good low end, the other is belt driven and a little more like a turbo for top end.

And to nit-pick the pontiac grand prix gtp only came with 260 HP stock and was 3.8 litirs. When you compare this to audis 3.0 L and 330 HP stock the gains are likely to be much much much much much less than 80 HP. On the B5 a chip DOUBLES boost to net about 60HP, that isnt going to be done with the supercharger hate to say it.
