yeah.. i know.. but i want as much power that i can have without building my engine.. so im going for as big exhaust as feesable.. i dont want it to be loud or nagging.. but i want people to know when i pass them.. i want lamborghini engine sound..lol.. or v8 ferrari sound...

so i may run a resonator and a muffler...:-)

For performance 3" downpipes and 3" electric cutouts before the cats (QTP, Mccord powerplate) is the best. Whatever you do after that can be just for sound and emissions. the ASP catback and AWE twin 1 both sound pretty exotic. Bigger or straight pipes will create alot of drone. You can get tuned for the open downpipes (dumps) and can sometimes get some serious gains by bypassing cats and mufflers, its also great because it can be toned back (but still loud) for commuting, but at the flick of a switch you can open the dumps to unleash full power and noise

i think that sounds awsome

034 motorsport 3" downpipes are $750, then add whatever it would cost to fabricate pipes from there on, <$500 more id think.

Or you can get SSAC which is not 3" but is alot cheaper

3" downpipes, cats, and a single muffler is LOUD, straight pipes is asking to be pulled over where i live. Its really loud...

MYS4.org mention 4-7 hp increase with cat back alone. I've heard 15-20. What do you think a Stage 2 (APR) with cat back would be putting out? 320 hp?

i would say 325 if you do an intake mod and gut the pre-cats.. maybe 330 with a good catback system...

Not all hardware and software is equal. APR pump with a cat-back probably wont put down 300whp.

I got this from a previous post... you know.... searching

Just to give you an idea of stage 2/2+ numbers, also you gotta keep in mind dyno calibration varies GREATLY. Some read high, some are heart breakers... the temp, weather, and elevation will also change things ALOT

Quattro_1.8t , id have em make a dual 2.25 (or dual 2.5") with a single muffler. 3" downpipes, no cats, and that will ROAR....seriously its just 1 muffler away from straight pipes i hope you like noise

screw the cats. Get straight pipe from turbos back and have a custom tune set up to delete the secondary O2's. Emissions will never know
