Default anyone ever do/buy this?

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/INMOT...spagenameZWDVW

It's pretty cheap and shows pretty good gains if it's legit. I'm anoob to stuff like this, and i think it's shady... I wouldn't do it unless i heard some positive feedback. Thanks!

this could go two ways: i could be an *** and say how dumb it'd be to buy a chip of ebay, but i'm not going to do that. instead, i will say that for being a noob, look at chips that have a good reputation ie giac, apr, or mtm. once you know more about chips and their power gains, you can find what you want. that's my advice for now. more will come from others for sure

I have searched and what not but now found much info if any about that specific dealio. Thanks for being easy on me, and like i said it looks shady i was just wondering if it was legit at all. If I am just beating a dead horse by starting this thread I apologize, and mods delete the thread if necesary. I'mjust exploring options on a budget...

Look at the S4 FAQ.

I would not by ANY chip from a shop that has no history with the car being chipped!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Cars can go BOOM from bad chip tuning!

Everything that has been said previous is true, and I was also in the same boat as you. To play devils advocate here, I did some searching and I found a few guys on vortex who had them, and they also seem to be very reputable in Austria. Imho they're just starting to get their name here in the states, and the best way to do this for a small company is to sell cheap products people are willing to take a risk on. If the products are quality, their name will spread, and in turn prices will go up. Have I bought one yet? No, but that doesn't mean I won't in the future, my money is just in other places right now.
