Hi all,

I'm looking for rims and noticed the pretty much all of them on Tirerack.com come with some type of ring, including the BBSs. I was hoping to avoid that as it seems like it might compromise the stability and/or mount of the wheel.A guy at a shop found a wheel that does not require any ring but couldn't find any that come in 8.5 width, only 8. So, I'm weighing the option between 8" wide with no ring or 8.5" with. Any feedback is appreciated.

 

a truely deep question that is; BBS's are hella popular so there is that... but really and I am being very serious what is half a inch? it's nothing that half an inch won't grip that much more, it was proven in front of my eyes at you guess it, a tire rack performance showoff, just peronally I would go with the non ring 8.

 

id get 8 anyways just for better clearance....8.5 could have problems with running
