Default Anyone know if B5 brakes are same as allroad and A6 2.7T?

So I'm in the process of reverting back to 17" rims for good. Michigan roads are too crappy for even OEM 18" S4 wheels. Already bent and cracked 2, and gone through 3 tires. And I'm a crazy when it comes to avoiding any bumps or potholes. So since the stock 17" wheels worked great beforehand, I figured I'd go for that size.

So I'm looking for wheels and its a pain in the neck finding OEM Audi Style wheels that fit B5s. Nothing ever lists S4 fitment. But frequently I'll see, "does not fit Allroad or A6 2.7T". So my assumption is that the calipers are the same considering alot of other parts are similar. Just curious if anyone can clear this up for me and save me from more headache. Thanks guys.

BTW, I already have 10mm spacers so I think I should be good as long as the offset doesn't vary too much. I had to space the newer S4 wheels just to make them fit. Ughh, the price we have to pay to keep these babies up n running. It almost gets the best of me..almost.

you know i was gonna say that the a6 brakes and allroads were smaller because the S4 i know has larger brakes because its performance oriented. but the fact that you said that some applications you've looked at said they wont fit a6 or allroad makes me second guess myself. i know when i went to look at new wheels at les schwab the only brands they carried that would fit was axis and tsw. all others had to be custom or spaced. werent you planning on trading awhile back for stocks? just sayin if you have 4 straight wheels ill trade you for my stockers painted black

they say the allroad 2.7t is a little but stronger and has better parts, and watched a stage 3 allroad put up some good numbers on a dyno...

All 8-pad set up A6/AR's and the B5 S4's used the same pads. They will share the same front rotors also, but the 4-pad front C5 chassis parts are not the same.

Allroad is not stronger and doesn't have better parts. If anything it's the other way around.
