Anything else by the Timing Belt?
Hello everyone,
well i thnk that it is finally time for me to change my timing belt. I am going to change it this week, since their is alot of labor for the timing belt, and pulling off the front, what other suggestions would you guys say to do, while im in their. First of all i need to replace my alternator, then im going to do the timing belt, then new serpentine belt...
what about pulleys? are they actually good for our cars? some people say they can screw with the alternator and say they are too much of a pain in the *** for the little gains.
Anybody have modified horns on their audis? what about the ecs hella horns?
thanks
please reply asap

yeah so im reading further and people are saying that lightwieght pulleys are a bad idea.. I have a stereo system in my car already and they say that my alternator will die faster.. hahaa it already died on the stock pulleys thats why im pulling my front end offf now.
well, I changed underdrive crank pulley and power steering pulley when I was changing my tb and water pump.I had them in the shelve for long time. The weight difference of both the pulleys is huge. I used pulleys from Unorthodox racing ultra ss kit.
