Default APR stage 3 kit

This past sunday i order an apr stage 3 kit for my 2000 audi s4... i just found out yesterday the kit is on a 2 week back order. I called APR and they told me they sold 5 stage 3 kits in one week. They normally only sell 2 or 3 a month... well anyways just wanted to tell everyone im going stage 3 by the end of june hopefully.

What made you chose APR? The rediculous price above other OTS kits and home brew kits?

AWE with manifolds is the same as APR...

i went with apr cause i get all the features they offer in the ecu. (race mode, 93 tune, stock, valet, and security) plus they have amazing customer support. Plus i have heard bad things about the aftermarket mani's.

and i like the piece of mind that apr has sold alot of kits and they have proven power

the difference between any of teh makers in power is virtually nothing....people put so much stock in that and its hardly anything....you should find a company that is close to you and go with whatever brand they carry..that way you have someone local to help if you need it.

well I have disagree. there are some proven power differences in OTS kits.

APR has a solid race file, but a mediocre pump file as it isn't aggressive at all...awe has proven to be more powerful as OTS kit and with a few tweaks, their kit becomes even stronger. VAST seems to have the fastest OTS files and are well liked. I personally run a homebrew setup that is extremely aggressive and on the pump file i was able to pull hard on an apr stage runnng the race file.

my car was fairly reliable until my turbo **** the bed. but hey, that is the quality of Borg Warner for you
