Holy *****... slight trimming required on bumper? Does it only come in black? I am kind of a fan of the aluminum look that pops out.

yeah..was talking with him a bit about it. its going to be pretty nuts i think. he was saying that the main differences between this and the DUh front mount was that the DUh had horizontal rows. so basically you crisscrossed the piping at the ends (normally the two sides are isolated, but with the horizontal, for example, driver's side compressed air would come through the charge rows and end up on the passenger side where it would be connected to the TBB), this design essentially replicates the way the RS4 intercooler works. Flow comes in from the bottom and flows up top. You can't see the separator that is in the middle of the core on the top and bottom. If you were to do the math what you have in the ASP FMIC is essentially slightly more cooling than 4 RS4 intercoolers. Pressure drop should theoretically be very low and flow should be increased as the end caps I.D. are slightly larger than RS4 and much larger than stock SMICs.

it sounds pretty sweet to me..havent gotten any numbers on flow rates or pricing yet..hopefully hell get back with some.

and mott..dont think there is gonna be trimming needed..it is designed specifically for the s4.. Granted its going under a rs4 front..but i dont think clearance is different between the two.. and they are also designing it for sale to other s4's
