Let me start off by saying i just baught my s4 2000 yesterday the guy put a aftermarket alarm system on the car the system was messing with my locks etc so i put the factory one back on but now hears my problem the keys arent programed anymore so now i have 2 unlock my door with the key not the beeper thing its so anoying if anyone can tell me how 2 reprogram my keys that will be great if not then i have 2 resourt 2 going 2 audi and their gonna probly charg a arm and a leg for programing the keys thanks.

thanks for the info i went 2 the dealer and he tried that and it didnt work the guy probly messed something up putting the stock alarm back in and not making the sensor work for it 2 reckonies the keys thanks foe the info tho i will probly bring it 2 my mechanic

 

yeah im going through the same problems. When I bought the car it had a shitty after market alarm installed and now i can't use the unlock/lock buttons on my key so i have to use the key to unlock the doors. I just recently purchased a whole new alarm system because audi told me it would cost about 300 to reprogram everything and i needed a new key. Instead I just bought a compustar alarm/turbotimer/autostart off ebay for only 200 wasn't a bad deal.
