ecu/model designation on S4

ecu/model designation on S4
I have an 01 S4 Avant tip. Mine came with L-box but I see where AA-box is a swap. I'd like to know if AA-box is maybe early 01 model and L-box is the 01 1/2 ? I also read a thread awhile back hinting that all Avant S4's were 01 1/2. Anyone know if this is right?[sm=feedback.gif]
