Default Audi TT/S

A friend of mine from work just got back from some Auto show where Audi was a featured manufacturer. They had an R8 and some other goodies. He brought me back a catalog for the TT/S. I don't know if it's an S-Line TT but it's got the Full /S badge.

All the specs are European but I'll share them anyway:
2.0 TFSI
0-100 in 5.2sec (0-62 in 5.2)
350Nm (258tq)
250 km/h (155mph)
200 kW (268hp)
7.9 l/km combined(30mpg)
Unladen Weight: 1415kg (3120lbs)
Gross Weight: 1815kg (4000lbs)

Looking at the power curves it hits peak torque at 2500RPM and doesn't start dropping off until 5100rpm. Power climbs steadily before hitting peak power at 5,550rpm.

They'll also be available with a S tronic 6-speed electro-hydraulically operated dual-clutch gearbox. The acceleration times for the S tronic are .2 seconds better than the regular 6spd manual even with the extra weight.

So maybe everyone already knew about this but it was news to me. Looks like a sweet car

TONS of pics in the book but I doubt I can copy it for copyright reasons. Was published this month (Jan '08).

There's nothing on the Audi USA site but I found this on their German site: http://microsites.audi.com/auditt-lounge/html/index.php

Select english, wait for it to load and then select the TTS logo to see the TTS
