hi , i would like to buy a s4. but i don't know if i should get auto or manual? is there any problems with the auto triptronic transmission? i don't know much about audi's on how good there auto transmissions are. there are two similiar s4 that i am looking at. one is auto and the other is manual. please help. thanks

 

depends on where you live. Lots of traffic an auto might be more practical and get better gas milage. But most people will tell you because its faster and more fun to drive go for the manual. Also manual's are cheaper unless ur buying used, and then the price should be pretty much the same.

I've got the "tip" on mine..and I love it! I really wanted to get the 6-speed..but couldn't find on around..thought I'd just settle for the auto..glad I did! All the fun of a manual..and no clutching in traffic! Get the tip!

 

Definitely manual! Faster, better control, more fun to drive - and cheaper to boot.
As far as I'm concerned if you're buying a performance car, buy it to drive it. And driving with Tip just ain't the same.

 

Manual on the way, you'll regret it eventually that u didnt get it if you go with tip
