Default Avants rule!

Yeah Avants Rule! This weekend I had a canoe strapped to the top - and it looks so natural...and I still broke 100 a few times! (don't worry I tied it down real good...and never flet like it was going to go airborne...too much extra weight in it...)

Hahaha, that looks so funny for some reason.

I was thinking about doing the canoe mod to my car, heard sit adds 10 hp.

I love Nogaro blue with those RS4 reps.

Yeah I'm really happy with the wheels...I'm curious what they look like moving - I've only been in the car when its been underway with them on. I know I surprised all kinds of folks when i motored around them with the canoe on top of my car like nothing doing. And if you think the canoe looks funny on the Avant - imagine the same canoe on top of my little black (1s gen) MR2! (sticking out 5 feet both front and back). Its funny - this weekend my buddy brought his canoe along and he used to own a black MR2 just like mine (except without the supercharger) - and we'd even gone canoeing together back when we both had the cars - now just imagine 2 little black MR2s with big long canoes on them motoring down the road! There were a few times I've had the canoe on top and 2-3 bikes hanging off the back at the same time - wish I had a pic (I don't) - shame that - it really was a hillarious sight.

Actually now that you mention it I pulled up along side a cycle (silver & green speed bike - don't know what kind) and an Sti and they were going at it - I beat both off the line (got a great jump!) and only the bike ever passed me! True (I know it sounds impossible...but it did happen). The Sti never did manage - though he tried (we got into some traffic...still he did all he could to keep up with me for about 5+ miles beforeI lost him completely...the bike was definatly shocked that I initially took them both (with canoe on top!) and really had to dig before he blew by me...never did catch up with him...

Dude, don't take this the wrong way cause your car is totally sick, but I just had a thought... This has probably become an even funnier story fromthe STi owner'sside of things (not knowing, of course, that you're putting down about 400HP to the wheels): "Yeah bro, I got smoked today by some guy in a station wagon with a 18' canoe strapped to the roof..." "SHUT UP GUYS, that thing was fast as hell!!!"

LOL. Roadhawk, you've just given a whole new meaning to the word "stealth"!
