On a 2001 Audi S4 where is the Ignition Control Module located? also are there 2 ICMs on these cars as well?

Thanks, wish the parts shop I bought the 1 ICM from would have told me that.

Anyone happen to know the part numbers for both ICMs are they the same?

I believe one of them is: OEM# 4A0 905 351

Yep, same numbers. You can actually switch the two modules and your car still works fine.

Please please please make sure you put on the conductive grease that goes in between the ICM and metal plate ontop of the airbox. Theres some sort of ground that is associated with that, I think. When I bought my ICM it came with the stuff. So hopefully your all set!

1 ICM for each bank of cylinders. I don't remember exactly but sort of like, 1 ICM for 1-3 and 1 for 4-6.
