Well,

I went for a ride with Ryan from Dubwerx here in Cincinnati. His 00 S4 is modified with RS6 turbos. Not hybrids. He has pipes, intercoolers, fuel upgrades, all the good stuff. His car was amazingly fast. 15k on stock internals, driving agressive everyday. Car and engine have 180k on them. 85K more than mine. I could not belive how powerful that car was, it never ran out of breath.

Needless to say, that is the way I am going to go. He dyno's 440 at the wheels on pump gas. I will be right there too, I am going to use AWE intercoolers instead of the RS4's that he has. According to him, the RS4 intercoolers are not up to par with this set up anyways.

So there it is. After alot of money, and about 6 weeks of down time. I should have one nasty S4.

I will keep everyone posted. Let the games begin.

Mike

i concurr also with K04s over RS6 Turbos. You are going to be spending more money on piston and rod upgrades not to mention the labor that goes into that alone. You can get K04s and inlet pipes and hardware for 2600 bucks, plus a fueling kit for 2500, intercoolers for 1200, clutch and flywheel for 1500 and thats about the all you need as far as major purchases that are a necessity to become a stage 3. RS6 turbos seem more of a headache project than K04s.

Guys, not to sound like a jerk. But I was not looking for the least expensive route. I am willing to spend the money to make the car right. In around 6 weeks. It will be right.

Well, within reason. If I want to go too fast, I will send my Corvette to Lingenfelter. Which was the other option. However, I decided the Audi would be more fun. Plus it has the advantage to drive every day. The Vette is currently sleeping for the winter.

Nice to see you to, I will be posting on here from now on.. Yea maybe we can get some of the other members to join here and have some truthful technical threads and not just ones that are tailored for certain people/vendors agendas..
