By far the B5 is 10 times more moddable. You are just too limited with the V8. Take a ride in a full stage 3 with K04s and it will be an easy decision.

 

Depends on if you want to mod...and how much you want to mod.

test drive both and see what you like. Totally different cars....as was stated previously...most b6 owners are going to prefer a b6 and most b5 owners are going to prefer a b5. You really need to drive both.

I agree with everything here except for the part on the interior

They are completly different

If you want to say which models are the same please say the B6 and B7 are the same

 

B6, i love that monster V8, power is always there.

 

What I can't figure out is why nobody has figured in the most IMPORTANT aspect..GAS! You'll get way better mpg with the B5..I know the specs say they're vloser but c'mon..seriously..go with the B5!!!

The B6 interior is the nicest interior i have ever encountered in a car. there is simply no comparison between the interior of the b5 and the b6.

an audi is an audi, and i love them all. but to say the difference between the interiors of the b5 and b6 are "basically the same" is silly. if you can't tell the difference, that's one thing, but they are not at all the same.

my friend has had a b5 for a while...she checked out my b6 and couldn't believe how much nicer it was.

Thats jsut hte impression i got after being in it for about 15 min. I didnt really get to experience it that much, i just didnt see big enough differences to make me choose the b6 over the b5. Let me rephrase though, the b6 interior is awesome, but the b5 interior is really nice as well, i just dont hting it outweighs the power potential of the b5 personally. The seats of the b6 are the nicest ive seen in a stock production car, but i dont think the interior is the nicest ive been in.
