I know there are threads on this, would be cool to have one thread to address all intakes for the S4.

Currently, I have been looking into ABDs stuff. The Quick Flow caught my eye... Im curious what the difference is between this and their other intake. The Quick Flow is illegal and I dont know why...

Its between the EVO MS or the Quick Flow, for me.

If anyone has stories about intakes, tell us about it!

ABD = another bad design.. imo.

that thing is just sitting right next to the engine w/ no heat shield & is sucking nuthing but HAWT air...
plus I've read some reviews that it makes the CEL come on...

 

Stick with the stock airbox.

 

I have the EVo open cell - and while I do notice some heat soak effects it always draws well (sounds great) and the car moves. The x-1 racer carbon fiber enclosure is interesting - don't know how well it works...and ABD intake piping sure looks nice - but other then that I don't know anything about it.

 

What about the AWE s-flo? That fits right inside the stock airbox and is said to give you 10-11 crank hp. My mechanic who used to have a 01 s4 said it was great on his car.

 

I plan to get the s-flo within the next month or two. Let me know what you guys think abuot that one.
