Default B6 S4..Should i get it? PLZ HELP
ive been thinking for a while about which s4 to get..and i rlly got my eyes set on the b6.. but i heard it has some promblems..what should i do?? can n e one plz help

There has been some issues with people having to replace the entire engine. If possibly, try to find an 05 as most of the problems were happening in the earlier models,.. mostly the 04 and a few of the earlier 05's.

Engine problems were on the early build date 2004 B6 S4....I can't remember the exact date...I'll see if I can find it.

Just did some research...Stay away from B6s S4s with a build date prior to 10/2003.....not all of the early ones were bad, but all the ones with major engine problems were from the early builds...

I bought my 05 B6 new a year ago. I have 15K miles on it, and I have had no issues of any kind. The only problems I've heard of were on the first production run of the 04 models.

Yep...I have 04 S4...build date of 08/2004....no problems...

So just stay away from bulid dates prior to 10/03

Yeah...there is a technical service bulletin on that...basically audi says too bad...it only happens under certain circumstances. I have not noticed it on my car yet...

it is a great car!
