Default Bad DV?? please help!

I have an '01 S4 with about 85,000 miles on it. It's a Tip. When I punch it it feels like it slips. There are short spurts where it will not have any power at all and then it will continue to accelerate. It will stop accelerating hardcompletely some times. It just seems like it kicks out. I had it scanned at the dealership and there was a error code. They said there was sporatic pressure. I'm not sure what it exactly means. I have the code numbers on a paper, but i do not have the paperwith me. Please help with any input.

Thanks for the input. I'm still in school and I don't have a whole lot of time, or money for that matter, to wrench on it myself. I just got the car a little less than a year ago and im not to sure where everything is. I don't konw where to start looking. Any suggestions on where and how I would start? Thanks a bunch.
