Question Badges... Who Needs Em?!

So umm... I want to de-badge my S4. It's an 02 B5, and I'm looking to take the S badge off the back, and the Audi 4 circle badge off too... Are these glued on or held on w/ a bolt? If someone knows kindly post up! Thank you!

I'm thinking the rings are glued since they're so skinny. And I'd imagine the S4 badge is too, cause my badge on the trunk is slightly crooked.

y would you want to take off the rings eh? theyre glued on...in my opinion you should just leave the s4 on i think debadging the b5s is for the a4 people trying to make it harder for the people who cant tell the difference between a a4 and an s4 therefore making it look like they have an S.. thats just what i think...but hey to each his own right

yup use a heat gun or hair dryer to soften the adhesive then run some strong fishing line behind the badge and cut the adhesive/foam with the fishing line. You just pull it allong from one side of the badge to the other. A little goo-gone to get rid of the old adhesive, some wax to make it shine.

Iv done it twice now, every time i put the badges back on i cant get it like factory

use wax and grease remover. its a paint safe solvent and paint prep solution. that will take the glue off instantly

Ahhh... well I know that A4's tend to de-badge, but I don't mind if people are unsure what it is... The simple fact is that I know what it is, and if people try to race me, they will soon find out too I'm really not fond of badges... Even if I owned an AMG S Class, I would still de-badge... It just looks cleaner and more symmetrical. And for the person who asked, I will be holding onto the badges just in case I want to put them back on. Thanks for the post ups guys!

After just getting my 01 s4 back from paint and having the car debadged for that, i actually found I liked it better with just the s4 logo and no rings on the back, I have gotten 2 comments today at my college after putting the s4 badge on then the last 2 weeks without it.
