hi im a new audi s4 b5 gen owner...i would like to know whats recommended for basic mods to add some heat to my new ride...not the richest so something reasonable...ive been reading about apr and giac chips and millitek exhaust systems...let me know...

 

also...what are the suggested 1/4 mile times with just a chip and exhaust?

 

I have a Milltek exhaust anda GIAC chip. Makes it feel like a different car. Huge difference for not a whole lot of cash.

 

Read the sticky at the top of the forum, it will answer you questions.
With a chip & exhaust your 1/4mi times should be in the 13's.

Roland - I wouln't neglect suspension work either. Lower it and tighten it up with some coilovers (like the Vogtlands - if your on a bit of a budget) and the Hotchkis H-Sport sways. It will really improve your driving fun immensly as well as making the car much more nimble and capable. Also - though a bit pricier - some nice downpipes along with the exhaust makes a big difference. I went with AWE- not cheap - but worth it IMO. And then a larger MAF and intake....of course we could go on and on here...still - doing the above - plus also highly recommend a Short Shifter and snub mount and/or transmission stabalizer - will really transform the car and reward your driving experience...Mod on!
