Star Specs are good.

I have been running Hankook RS-2s for the past year and am very happy. Originally they were supposed to be Hankooks tire for the Street Touring autocross classes, but they proved to be not as competitive as some of the others. They have plenty of void area (too much to work well for autocrossing, but not bad for the street) and work well in the wet, but the compound is plenty soft for dry grip. They don't last long, but at half the price of the Michelin Pilots they are a relative bargain and provide better grip.

2nd Direzza Sport Z1 Star Spec... FTW!
Thats whats on my stage 3 B5 and im very pleased!
Id stick with the same size you have if your just doing daily higway driving, no need to change. I think the difference between 235 and 225 is the side wall thickness?? Not sure but an educated guess..

the 235 actually refers to the width of the tread, the 40 refers to the height of the side wall in comparison to the tread width i.e. a 235/40 is going to have a taller side wall compared to a 225/40 hope this helped
