I was driving home from Easter dinner and while I was getting onto the higway I got into boost then noticed a sudden loss of power... I looked at my guage and it wasn't boosting. I looked in my rear view; there was a Cumulus cloud of white smoke... I def knew right then it was done along with a tinckering sound in my driver side turbo. That turbo was screaing before for about 2 months before tonight. I called AAA and they towed it to the place I am getting the ko4's installed ( I already have them) . So it looks like stage 3 is coming sooner than expected! ordering a clutch prob tomorrow as well as inlets/hardware. going to go down to the shop in the morning to tell them why there is a random s4 there. lol.
fueling to be bought in a few weeks. Very cheap and custom

Haha.. Ya, my car also got towed Friday night in Boston. $114 later, i was good to go. Then driving home my cover under the car came loose, so i took it off today. So it was right it line for something to happen,lol. Looks like i'll be getting the South Bend stage 3 OFE clutch. they have a very good rep and if I want to do a few track days, it'll be good for that too
Soon HP we'll be doing some pulls against some Honda's and saying to ourselves... "Too soon Junior!" lol

 

Good thing your prepared for it. So how's your fueling going to work, I mean what's it consist of?

RS4 accordion hose
Siemens 60lb injectors
Billet fuel rail spacers with bolts
Custom tuned software (using real tuning tools, not lemmiwinks)[/align][/align]It's a custom tune from a guy who runs 10's . His full interior s4 with this tune is running mid 11's [/align]So if i can pull off a Mid-low 12 for my first run ever.. i'll be happy. I know after practice i'll be in the 11's easy. so... it's going well... I know my turbo blowing happened for a reason. I told them other than the turbo swap, clutch, etc, that my CA's and rear wheel bearing was going. The other day the guy at the shop (ESP) called me about updates and stuff.. he told me that my rear wheel bearing was wicked bad, it was prob the worst ones he has seen. He told me that my wheel was literally about to fall off! Great timing! Well , the clutch ( CM) and OEM parts are on the way, i just ordered inlets, etc. and all I need now are Dp's which i was suppose to pick up this weekend ( tomorrow) in NY. I dont need those til about monday, tuesday, so its not that bad. So i anyone around central mass or within 200 miles, i can come and pick them up if you are selling some good one.. no piggies please
I hope to have this done by next Friday... it could be the following monday or tuesday. no rush, I just want my first 500 miles to break in that clutch to go by wicked fast!

As well as pics, I will definitley have to make a movie of the exhaust I am buying tomorrow. I bought Labree (fast intention)split downpipes with straightpipes that have custom electronic dumps fabricated to them. I talked with the owner of them and he hates to see them go because he loves the sound and addition power these create! He can't run them with his new exhaust setup because of the fitment. I am totally excited to be getting these although they are a good 3-1/2 - 4 hour drive each way to get them, lol.
