What is the point of talking **** to someone that's trying to give help? That's the kind of attitude that makes me hate certain car owners. S4, maxima, whatever. Don't be an ******* because you happen to not like someone's car...that's just childish and ridiculous and just shows that you don't deserve to own a car at all.

and pyrotechnique how the **** was he trying to give help?? by saying get a gay *** electric boost guage that looks like **** in his maxima and would look even more like *** when its in an s4 instead of going with the proven one from awe that has never had issues and is always accurate and mathces the interior of the s??? how is that help???i mean im sure he has one of those big wings on his maxima too and maybe his nextreccomendation is goingto beput one of those on his s4 and paint it pink..

I'm not saying that it was "useful" help, but he was trying to be nice...that's the point. All you need to say is "don't go with that gauge. there are other gauges that have proven to be effective and match the interior of our cars quite nicely." There's no need to insult his choice in cars. All I'm saying is to at least try to be nice and helpful. It's not like he was saying some **** like "maksima's r the ****. *** s4, audi r lame!".

hahah LMAO, well i went with a offthe shelf boost guage, all of them will work fine just make sure u get one that goes over 20psi. and if u want to go stage 3 eventually just get one thats 30psi max. and as for mounting it... I have mine in the same place as that maxima. but unlike him i used a Guage pod that is sold at www.purems.com It places the guage on the top of the steering collum, only downfall to it is that you need to look around it to see your info screen between the tach and speedo.
The pod was liek $20 i think,

And just another tid bit from personal experience..... If u buy a Auto meter guage.... go out and buy your own boost hose and T-adapter, cecause the ones that came with my guage were low quality... Brittle plastic T-fitting and the hose felt liek a flexible straw i get off a juice box.

LMFAO you have rubber bands holding your riced out **** together

I don't know why you guys are being such a.wipes to me. I also don't think there is anything rice about my car.

Yeah, I guess I should have explained the rubber band thing ahead of time, lol. That pic. was taken right after the supercharger/boost gauge install. I wanted a functioning boost gauge at the same time the supercharger was installed. I think it was 2-3 am the night we finished and I just wanted the gauge functioning -I'd make it pretty later.

In fact, even though it took me longer than I'd like to admit, I did finally get around to (almost) finishing up my steering wheel dual gauge pod this weekend. I didn't want an A-Pillar gauage pod because I prefer the more stealth look. It still needs some more work but you get the idea.

<Link to close-up of dual gauge podsince the picture is notshowing up. ??>

The S car forum is an interesting place haha

That specific guage only reads to 15 psi which if you are chipped will just max out. I dont know much about guages but i would believe it if you told me electronic are more accurate...

But people go awe because it is simple, very convienent to mount, and matches the stock guages. i assume you could take the AWE housing, and put an electronic boost guage in that reads a higher value.

And matt get back to me about that bumper and those sideskirts! After i fly back to NH on the 15th we should meet up and put those programs on my S

Right, I was just showing you the gauge I chose. I wasn't sure what the maximum boost was that you guys hit.The most boost I have seen is 12PSI. My model number is 5776. The 5777 has a 0-30 PSI range which sounds like it would be better suited for the S4.

Of course it's up to you if you want manual or electric. If you have the extra money, I recommend electric. Yes, they are more accurate - they calibrate themselves at each start-up. Presumably, the manual gauges lose a slight bit of accuracy over time and need to be re-calibrated every so often. You might consider reading autometer's website, I think they explain it there. Also, it's really nice to have a peak boost memory (the manual gauges might have this but I don't think so. ?). It also lets you set when the warning light comes on (but, again, the manual gauges might do that too).

I'm sorry, but I didn't understand what you were saying/asking here. ?

don't sweat it bro. Just get that s4!
Thanks rmt. I am actively working on it. But do you know how hard it is to find a pearl white on black leather, low miles, mint condition, fully loaded (premium package, cold weather package, etc.) 2001.5/2002 S4? [&:]

mattr, I know your type. Mr. tough guy behind the keyboard/mouse. But you're not like that at car meets, right? How come? And I bet you wouldn't call me tomorrow and say this crap to my face. 951-413-3251.

dude, your a mess... I personally find it amusing, but seriously lay off "ptatohed", he hasdone nothing but chipping in his opinion and thoughts. With 34 posts under your belt, your quite a rookie yourself.

FYI - "rice" comes in all genre's, including Audi's...
