hey guys so last night i was on the freeway cruising with no problems, i put my foot down to pass i car in 6th andonce at about 3500 my rpms jumped to 4500ish then back down and floated there, then barely started to climb. i was still accelerating but the rpms werent going up. im thinking its a boost leak but i was wondering if a boost leak would do that to the rpms. im still running the stock dvs with a chip so could that be my problem or something else?

 

Sounds more like a slipping clutch.
