I was looking around at the RS4 and found a pic of it's calipers. Glossy black with the RS4 logo. Finally made my decision that I would do that, only with the S4 logo. Where can I find something like that that would stick on the caliper without fear of falling off? I know there is a paint your caliper DIY and I will use that to paint (never done it before) but what about the logo, what are my options there? I want the newer S4 logo.

 

You are going to have a hard time finding any sort of decal that can endure the tempsto whichthe caliper is going to be subjected. I believe you will find that the logos on the B7S4 and RS4 calipers are a powdercoat of some sort rather than a decal.

 

Dang... without taking the car out of service for several days, how could I do that?

 

you could always take them to a local machine shop and have them engrave the logo on a cnc. i work at a machine shop and have engraved stuff like that for myself its not really a big task it will just cost money and take probobly a day or 2 but it would look amazing.

 

i think a sticker would work ...my cousin put some on his lexus and they havent come off...im sure they have special stickers for stuff like this

Any pics of them on a car? How much of the caliper would those cover?

I have thought stencil it with high temp paint. On this car, I don't want to do things half way. I want them done and done right, even if I have to pay a little more, but I am always open for cheapers ways that work just as well.
