hey guys, my red brake light came on on the dash all of a sudden and im not sure why. i worked nights and have no time to go to the shop for a few weeks so please help. emergency brake is off and the brake lights in the rear arenot on though. could it be the brake fluid or something related? please help.

 

if the break lights work ok ( all of them ) and they are not staying on all the time then I would suggest break fluid level,

edit: it could also be the break pad ware indicator ( O )
