Default brilliant idea for those who dont like their avus's

due to a recent trip to the mechanic my plan for new wheels is going to have to wait since my money will have to be spent on more important things. i've never really been a big fan of the avus wheels and since im having to post pone the new ones i thought id try something to make the avus's seem more unique and this is what im going to do. in the pictures its just electrical tape since i wanted to kind of have an idea of what it would look like but i really liked it so im going to go from here...

and some with better light...

my wheels are all scuffed up anyway from curbs so i wanted to refinish them, might as well try this too. oh and i only had thin blue electrical tape on hand, id paint on a thicker black stripe instead

wonder what it would look like if you filled all six of the recesses in on the edge of the wheel in with black..

yea i thought about that and i tried photoshoping it to kind of give me an idea and it really made it look like a snow flake.. what i plan on doing is going from the bottom of indentation to the edge of the black ring on the center dust cap. hopefully it will turn out alright.
