Caliper Paint?
Im about to redo my calipers red, but my friend was telling me that the dupli-color is bad. like they wear off fast. I used it before and i have to repaint them once a year. they always get ruined in the winter. Is there a better paint for them?
Could try VHT or G2, but I havn't heard any reviews about G2. Only really seen G2 online and on ebay.
By the way really nice lookin S4 you got goin, rs4 grills and fogs look classy and the rims fit the car well!

idk about it personally but i did help some friends do it and we used dupi-color. however we also put on multiple layers of clear coat after (about 5-8) hahah and they have been lasting a long time.
Any High-temp (over 1000 deg) paint should be fine. The key is the prep. Spray down the caliper with brake cleaner, then scrub it with a wire brush, then respray. When it's dry, then paint it.
It should last a long time this way.

Nice tips, I want to do mine soon as well. How hard is it to get the caliper off by yourself? Do you need a lift, or will a jack suffice? Any link to a DIY would be great (cant search well now, on blackberry).
If one was to remove the caliper, which I figured most of you guys didn't, then i would just media blast the sucker if you can.
I'm media (glass) blastinga 1955 beetle and it takes off everything including rustand brings it to a clean satin metal. I would image that the paint would lastI really long timeif you did that...

http://www.stoprust.net/POR-15-Brake...Kit-p-168.htmlthis is a new product from por 15. I am not sure how it is yet but I have used many of there products and they are top notch and extremely durable. You just have to make sure to follow instructions to a T. Or you will have failure. I am going to give this a shot before winter gets here, no time now.
i plan on doing the same thing when i get my new rotors. should i not bother taking the entire caliper off? mine arerusted and my neighbor has a sandblaster which i was going to use along with the break cleaner.
